Akubra Hats is a fifth generation Australian Owned family company, with the current Managing Director being Stephen Keir IV. Contrary to some reports all Akubra Hats are wholly manufactured in Australia from the one location in Kempsey on the North Coast of New South Wales. Akubra Hats is committed to continuing the manufacture of its product in Australia.
