Laser Engraving

Using the latest laser technology, we can now re-create your logo with the look of a genuine hot branded image - directly onto an Akubra fur-felt hat of your choice. This in-house process produces a burnt-in, tone on tone, 3D image with extremely high precision and fine detail reproduction, creating a logo that is both subtle and complimentary to our Akubra image - effectively allowing your Brand to "piggy-back" on our uniquely Australian profile. Short production runs (a minimum of just 10 hats), quick turn-around, and great value for money are just a few of the outstanding benefits of this unique process. For sufficient contrast, this method is suitable only for hats of light to mid colours.

Hat Pins

Custom design hat-pins available in various metallic or coloured finishes can be manufactured and fitted to Akubra hats to enhance your corporate image. Hat-pins offer a traditional and popular branding option, and is well-suited to applications where exact replication of logo colours and depth is required, or where on-site fitting to hats is required.

Flock, Plastisol, & Photo Transfers

Flock is the most durable heat transfer system available, and can be printed in any PMS colour or combination of colours. Its 3-D velvet-like finish compliments the feel of an Akubra. Plastisol replicates the appearance and feel of direct screen printing, and can reproduce fine detail in single or multiple colours including half-tones. Photo transfers are produced using a 4-colour digital printing process to achieve the highest quality print of multi-colour graphics. This process is best suited to solid designs, although text and finer details can be printed using solid backgrounds and keylines.

Embroidered hat-Bands

Particularly well-suited to logo-branding of our straw hat range, embroidery offers a cost-effective option for teamwear. Great for small quantities at short notice.

Embossed Leather Hat-Bands

For a subtle and classic image, a 20mm wide leather hat-band can be highlighted with your Brand logo or statement in metallic foil (foil stamping) or blind-embossed (debossed) without colour. With an available area of 100mm wide x 15mm high, this branding process is suitable for our fur-felt hat range as a sympathetic and subtle alternative to embroidery.

Woven Hat-Bands

Ideally suited to larger production runs for schools, Police Forces, and Emergency Services, custom-woven hat-bands are created to exacting colour-matching requirements, and allow for the inclusion of crests to be reproduced in very fine detail. The range of thread types and colours is vast, and the rapid sampling-to-production process ensures that your deadlines are not compromised.
